We understand that the economic state of the world has made people think twice about traveling. We are committed to our Kauai guests and have rolled our prices back to the 2003 level to ensure that those wanting to have a vacation can. Our home is reduced 23% over last year with a week stay of $1600.00 for 4 adults.
Our local beaches are known world wide for their beauty. We are just short walk from Tunnel's. Our beaches are perfect for long beach walks, swimming and snorkeling, and the best surfing on Kauai. There are areas that are protected by reefs for more gentle ocean conditions, and there are places where you can catch that big wave. There is no need to climb down a cliff or crawl over rocks or coral reefs to the beach.
The home is located in Haena (just north of Hanalei). This is a non-commercial area that offers uncompromised beauty and uncrowded surroundings. Hale Lani is my "legal rental" and complies with the State of Hawaii and the County of Kauai laws regarding vacation rentals. We are one of the very few legal rentals in Haena.

Hale Lani is a very comfortable home and is unique. The home sleeps up to 12 people, has a full Living room, full dining room, two full bathrooms, four bedrooms, outside hot and cold shower (concealed), full modern kitchen, and a Study with Full Wet Bar aera. The home is decorated with the finest and original South Pacific furniture, and beautiful original artwork. We have very naturally soft water and it tastes great too!
Our 90 foot lanai/deck opens directly to a panorama of green, luscious field and forest conservation land extending thousands of acres towards to Bali Hai and the Napali Mountains. A haven for bird watchers; owls and red-crested cardinals abound. Stargazing at its finest.
Just few minutes from our home is the Kalalau NaPali Coast Trail hiking trails along the wilderness coast of Kauai and some great large waterfalls and lovely Limahuli Gardens and the Wet and Dry Caves.
My home is just a few miles from Hanalei with restaurants, equipment rentals, grocery and shopping. Nearby is a world class golf course, as well tennis and horseback riding.
Weekly and Monthly Reservation Rates:
Weekly Rates- $1,600. per week up to 4 adults. (our past two year rate was
$1950)
Save with Monthly Rates- $5,550 per month up to 4 adults. 15% surcharge for
each additional adult over the first 4 included in the regular rate.
There is no extra charge for children under 12 in
a family.
All rates plus 11.41% Hawaii sales and hotel tax.
A $400.00 deposit for U.S. residents, $600 deposit for non-U.S.
residents will temporarily serve to hold a reservation for an open
period, provided a lease and 1/2 the rental payment are promptly
completed. The deposit, upon completion of your stay, and return of
the keys, will be refunded to you, less any charges. A non-
refundable clean-out fee of $260 for the first 4 guests and an additional $60
per guests # 5 - 12 is also required and is lower than
the Kauai standard clean-out rate. Additional cleaning for longer
stays will be arranged.
