Hale Lani is a
very comfortable home and offers our guests an authentic South
Pacific ambience.

Amenities:
The home has a very large Living
room and dining room, two full bathrooms, two bedrooms
downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs, fully equipped modern
kitchen, and Tiki Wet Bar room for your additional entertaining.
The layout of the home accommodates one or two couples
downstairs, the additional rooms upstairs may be used for larger
groups to accommodate 12 people total. Our guests are
single couples to larger groups, the home is very flexible.

One of the things that sets Hale
Lani apart from the more commercial rentals in the area and
makes it unique is that we have a great collection of original South Pacific decor, and
beautiful original artwork.
Outdoor Amenities:
Hale Lani is on its own full
property in a
natural area, with a feeling of great privacy. The entire
rear of the home is surrounded by our large lanai elevated deck
that has incredible views of Bali Hai. Rainbows abound!
With no lights nearby, the night sky is brilliant, the Milky Way
prominent.

so bring your laptop so you can send your friends pictures of
your adventures, as you lounge on the lanai viewing Bali Hai!
Our 90 foot lanai/deck opens
directly to a panorama of green, luscious field and forest
conservation land extending thousands of acres towards to Bali
Hai and the Na Pali Mountains. This very large lanai offers
great sunbathing opportunities, and we also have 2 covered
sections with special UV protection for those sensitive to the
sun, or for use if it rains. We also have a hot/cold
semi-enclosed outdoor shower for cooling off, taking a "nature
shower", and de-sanding. A haven for bird watchers; owls
and red-crested cardinals abound. Stargazing at its finest,
you’ll feel like you can just reach up and touch the Milky Way.
Our beach is Naue Beach which directly adjoins Tunnel's Beach (regularly
recognized as a Top 10 Beach in the World).
Many days on Naue Beach, you will be the only person on
this hidden gem, and you can take a short stroll to Tunnels on
the beach. Our uncrowded beaches are perfect for long beach walks,
swimming and snorkeling, and the best surfing on Kauai. Swim
with the giant sea turtles! There
are areas that are protected by reefs for more gentle ocean
conditions, and there are places where you can catch that big
wave. There is no need to climb down a cliff or crawl over rocks
or coral reefs to get to our beach and ocean.
Hale Lani is one of the very few legal vacation rentals on the
North Shore. We hold a certificate of use permit as a vacation
rental as is required by law in Kauai -TVNC 4182. For
your peace of mind, you should only rent from a permitted
vacation rental, as unlicensed (illegal) vacation rental homes
could be shut down before your stay.
Nearby Attractions:
Please follow the Google Map link to see the home and the nearby
places of interest. The home is located in Ha'ena. This is a
non-commercial area that offers uncompromised beauty and
uncrowded surroundings. The home is in a peaceful residential
beach neighborhood, not cluttered with condos or apartments. It
is just a few miles from lovely quaint Hanalei Village with
great dining, equipment rentals, grocery and shopping and
nightlife including the world famous Tahiti Nui Tiki Bar. We are
in walking distance to a small market and two restaurants.
There is a farmers market in the area once a week.
Just few minutes from our home is the Na Pali Coast Trail hiking
trails along the ocean and wilderness coast of Kauai where you
can hike to isolated beaches and waterfalls. A must do for
nature lovers and eco-tourists! Tunnels Beach is just a
short walk away, and Ke'e Beach at the end of the road is where
you will find Bali Hai. Wet and Dry Caves, Haena State
Beach and the Gardens are all just down the road.
Nearby are 2 World-Class
Championship Golf Courses making up a total of 45-Holes on two
courses that feature natural habitat of Kauai’s North Shore
while providing strategic variety for Golfer’s of all skill
levels. There is also tennis
and horseback riding, kayaking, sail boarding, river
waterskiing, helicopter and glider rides, fishing,
zip-line and river tubing, whale and dolphin watching and
beachcombing.
